Digital media

Digital media allow us to document and share our lives – but we must also remember that true authenticity and humanity unfold beyond filters and likes

In today’s world, saturated with digital technology, it is important to take a balanced view. While digital media offer us immense opportunities to communicate, learn and grow, we must not overlook their possible effects on our personal well-being and our relationships with others.

Digitalisation has undoubtedly changed the way we live, work and interact. It has blurred boundaries and led us into a world of constant connectivity and information. Amid all this digital progress, however, we must not forget that our human experience is shaped by deeper needs for connection, mindfulness and personal fulfilment.

It is important that we consciously take time to reflect on the impact of digital media on our lives. We should ask ourselves how we can use these tools to reach our goals without neglecting our emotional and psychological needs. It is about finding a healthy balance between the digital and the real world.

I want to create spaces where we can reflect on these issues together. I invite you to connect with me and to share your thoughts, experiences and perspectives. For only through open exchange and mutual understanding can we find ways to seize the opportunities of digitalisation without losing our humanity.

I look forward to setting out on this journey with you and exploring together how we can lead a fulfilled and balanced life in an increasingly digital world.

In response to current events (children using social media platforms that are not appropriate for their age), I have put together a short information brochure with the most important points: age recommendations, reporting options and sensible alternatives – in collaboration with www.neuemedien.ch. The documents are available in German.
