Together, not alone
“No one has to carry everything alone – neither the people we accompany, nor we ourselves.”
“wir begleiten” (German for “we accompany”) grew out of a simple experience: support becomes truly helpful where people trust one another. And no life fits into a single discipline. Sometimes what is needed is a listening ear, sometimes a professional perspective, sometimes someone who holds the many threads together – and sometimes an approach that needs no words at all.
That is why we work as a network. We know each other, we value each other, and we call on one another when a different perspective can help. For you, this means one trusted point of contact – and behind them, people with very different expertise who stand by your side together.
Who is part of the network
- Social work – support in everyday life, in crises and in transitions
- Psychology – understanding what weighs on you and what strengthens you
- Therapy – deeper support when wounds need time to heal
- Case management – overview and stability when many agencies are involved
- Art – expression for what has no words yet
What connects us
Our common foundation is relationship. We listen without judging. We ask without pushing. We take seriously what you experience, and we trust that you know best what makes up your life. We accompany – we don’t take over. And we stay, even when things get difficult.
Daniele Lenzo, founder
Daniele Lenzo founded “wir begleiten” and holds the threads of the network together. He is a qualified psychiatric nurse and systemic practitioner. In more than 25 years of crisis intervention, violence prevention, school social work and leading institutions, he has learned one thing above all: what truly helps people move forward is rarely a concept – it is the experience of not being alone. He draws strength from music and from time spent outdoors in nature.
