Support begins with relationship
“All real living is meeting.”Martin Buber
There are times when life weighs more heavily than usual. A conflict that can no longer be resolved. A worry that keeps you awake at night. A decision you face alone. At such times, what is needed first is not answers – but a person who is there, who listens and who stays.
That is what “wir begleiten” (German for “we accompany”) is about. We believe that change begins where someone feels seen and understood. Methods and expertise matter. But they only carry weight once trust has grown.
“wir begleiten” is a network of people from social work, psychology, therapy, case management and the arts, founded by Daniele Lenzo. What connects us is a shared attitude: we meet you as equals, with time, with respect – and with the confidence that there is more strength in you than you may feel right now.
For people going through difficult times
A protected space where nothing has to happen quickly. You tell us what is on your mind. We listen, ask questions and walk part of the way with you. More about counselling
For professionals and institutions
Those who are there for others every day need support themselves. We accompany teams and managers through challenging situations and develop foundations with them that hold up in everyday practice. More for institutions
For careful assessments
When concern for a person grows, clear questions help. Our assessment tools support professionals in looking closely – carefully, transparently and with respect for the people concerned. More about the tools
The first step
Reaching out sometimes takes courage. You don’t need to prepare anything or know what kind of help you need. A first conversation is without obligation – and often a relief in itself.
