Anyone who entrusts something to us should be able to rely on us to handle it with care. This policy describes which data is processed when you visit this website, use our assessment tools or work with us.
Principle
We follow Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance. We only process data that is necessary for the respective purpose and keep it only as long as required.

Contact form and email
When you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details – name, email address and your message – solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not pass these details on and do not use them for advertising.
Server log data
When you visit this website, technical information is logged as is usual when operating a website: the page accessed, date and time, browser type and IP address. This data serves the secure operation of the website and is not linked to you as a person. The website is operated in Switzerland.
Assessment tools
Our assessment tools follow a common method in which the protection of the people concerned is considered from the outset. Each tool is available in two versions:
- Local version: the tool runs entirely in the professional’s browser. There is no connection to a server; no data is transmitted to or stored by us. The results remain with the institution that creates them.
- Online version: the information is stored on a server in Switzerland. IP addresses are not recorded, and abbreviations are used instead of full names. Only authorised persons at the commissioning institution and we have access. What happens to the data after a project ends is set out in writing in the agreement.
Data is never passed on to us automatically – only when a professional consciously decides to discuss a case with us. Responsibility for the data concerning the person involved, and for informing that person, lies with the institution using the tool.
Confidentiality in our support
What you share with us in counselling or support remains confidential. “wir begleiten” is a network: if we involve another professional from the network, we do so only with your explicit consent and only to the extent necessary. All professionals in the network are bound by confidentiality.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about the data we process about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Please contact the controller named above.
Changes
This privacy policy may be amended if our services or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies.
